Seung Yoon “SY” Lee is the CEO and Co-founder of Story Protocol. Prior to founding the company, he served as Global Strategy Officer at Kakao Entertainment, a leading Korean entertainment company creating and delivering original content and IPs across formats. SY sold his first venture, Radish, the mobile serialized fiction app with millions of downloads across the globe, to Kakao Entertainment for $440M in 2021. The serial entrepreneur is also a venture partner at Hashed, an Asia Society’s Asia 21 Young Leader, and Trilateral Commission’s David Rockefeller Fellow. He was an inaugural member of Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2016 and was subsequently named as one of its All Star alumni. Lee was elected as the first Asian President of the Oxford Union, world’s famous debating society, during his study at Oxford.
Jason Levy is the COO and Co-founder of Story Protocol. Jason was previously a Director at Pocket Gems, where he built and led the content team for Episode — one of the top storytelling ecosystems on mobile with 200+ million downloads and $100M+ annual revenue. Jason spent 5 years as a financial analyst at Apple and founded Worlds Between Worlds, a mobile entertainment startup. He earned his MBA at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and completed a dual degree in Economics and Creative Writing at USC, where he was a Renaissance Scholar.
Jason Zhao is the Head of Protocol and Co-founder of Story Protocol. Jason was previously a Product Manager at DeepMind focused on productionizing Google’s cutting-edge artificial intelligence models across industrial and enterprise applications. He is an active angel investor in frontier technology startups. Jason served as the founding Editor in Chief of Stanford Rewired, a magazine focused on the intersection of storytelling and technology. As a Design Fellow at IDEO, Jason created and taught a course at Stanford’s d.school. Jason received both a Bachelor’s in Philosophy and Master’s in Computer Science at Stanford University.
